1. PRE-OVERSEAS FAIR TRADE
We were established for the sake of revival of the extinct coffee industry in 1860s encouraging non-industry areas and also seek possibilities of visible Fair Trade which can properly function within the country of origin. Currently, world-spread Fair Trade sometimes loses its initial spirits because strict quality management and continuous contribution between remote countries are not practical in terms of invisible business. Therefore, we have first started small but genuine Fair Trade in domestic range. We purchase strictly selected products from farmers at even higher rate than ordinary trade following plenty of advance payment. Accordingly, our sales price to end customers gets higher. However, end customers’ satisfaction directly leads to farmers motivation with more earnings by which next products are expected in higher quality. That is mutual and visible growth between farmers and end customers.
However, we have not always supported such farmers in unconditional manner. Actually, some of villages were forced to abandon a partnership with us since they failed to accept our strict process management and our highest standard with their self-endeavor. That represents that we never compromise on quality of our products.

2. FULL INVOLVEMENT OF LADIES
In nature, every process for production of specialty coffee (from harvesting in forest, processing in factory up to serving at cafe) requires lady’s delicacy. Therefore, we have organized lady farmers unions called “Wanomori Samitiya” in coffee forests along with Wanomori Account (joint bank account) to make the most of lady’s potential and beauty. At the moment, 2 % of our sales has been contributed to the said particular accounts every month apart from purchasing original products from them at Fair Trade rate. Cafe “Natural Coffee” is also operated by only female staff following this concept.

1. ROASTED COFFEE BEANS “OLD CEYLON 1860’s”
a) 60% of advance payment for agreed quantity should be made within two weeks after entering into the agreement.
b) Transport for delivery will not be charged if the location is in Kandy district.
c) Each roasting and delivery should be on request basis and the whole delivery under the agreement should be completed within 12 month from date of the agreement.
d) If quality of delivery does not meet your requirement, defects should immediately be identified by both parties’ inspection and those should fully be replaced.

When it comes to coffee planting, you may have right to keep 100 nos. of free plants for the purpose of your contribution activity per purchase of 200kg of “OLD CEYLON 1860s” (the above 1) . We are ready to arrange a specified land and all necessary things including free transport of plants from coffee nurseries. Your name will be officially recorded and displayed as a contributor. As a further option, you will be able to exclusively purchase coffee products made from the contributed plants to create your own brand in the future.
